The University of Georgia Foundation is overseen by a 46-member board of trustees, all of whom are experienced leaders in business and industry, community service, higher education and philanthropy.
It is both an honor and privilege to serve on the foundation board, and high expectations have been placed before all trustees. The board has become increasingly important to the university’s commitment to educational excellence, financial sustainability and institutional integrity.
Trustees play an integral part in the success of the foundation through their exceptional experiences and background to guide the university toward the future. The board is also asked to set an example in personal giving, by actively participating in the fundraising process, and by serving as an ambassador and advocate for both the foundation and the University of Georgia.
