University System of Georgia Foundation raises more than $900,000 for need-based scholarships

The 15th annual Regents’ Scholarship Gala, hosted by the University System of Georgia (USG) Foundation, raised more than $900,000 to support and provide need-based scholarships for students at all 26 USG institutions. M. Douglas Ivester, a UGA graduate and long-time supporter of his alma mater, was recognized with the Regents’ Hall of Fame Alumni and Distinguished Friends Award.
