The Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities (CURO) at UGA is committed to ensuring that ALL undergraduate students have the opportunity to participate in faculty-mentored research. From scholarships to travel for conference presentations to research grants, CURO is funding and supporting the academic and professional growth of undergraduate researchers. A gift to CURO is an opportunity for a student to explore their career options, academic interests, and meet industry leaders who can help them reach higher and go further.
25 Years of CURO
This year, we are celebrating the 25th CURO Symposium. For 25 years, the Symposium has highlighted excellence in undergraduate research at the University of Georgia by offering an opportunity for students in all disciplines, at all levels of experience, to communicate their research to the broader community.
In honor of the 25th year of the Symposium, we have a goal of 100 new gifts to support CURO students and their research. Will you help us get there?
$100 = One Best Paper Award presented at the CURO Symposium
$250 = Sponsors an Oral Session at the CURO Symposium
$500 = Sponsors Two Oral Sessions at the CURO Symposium
$1,000 = One Conference Participation Grant
$3,000 = One CURO Honors Scholar or Summer Research Fellowship
