Georgia Women Give has announced the addition of six new members to its executive committee. This group of women is committed to philanthropy, community and learning at the University of Georgia, and the executive committee helps guide the strategy and activity of the group.

“Georgia Women Give is strengthened by the energy and ideas of women who are inspiring us to do more,” said Elizabeth Correll Richards, chair of the executive committee. “With six new members joining us, we’re committed to expanding our reach and impact. These fresh voices and perspectives will help drive our goal of ensuring that ‘Georgia Women’ forever have the power to pursue their passion forward. The larger our group, the larger our impact.”

The new additions bring the total number of executive committee members to 12, an intentional decision made to honor “The First 12,” the moniker given to the first group of women admitted to UGA.

New Georgia Women Give Executive Committee Members:

  • Christine Gayle Anderson (BSED ’97), Augusta, GA
  • Muffet Campbell Arroll (BBA ’83), Atlanta, GA
  • Samantha Bluhm Crosby (ABJ ’87), Frisco, TX
  • Cheri Harden Leavy (BSED ’97), Saint Simons Island, GA
  • Pam Rogers (BBA ’82), Farmingdale, NY
  • Ellen Wilkins Wiley (AB ’96), Atlanta, GA

Returning to the executive committee are Elizabeth Correll Richards, chair of the executive committee, Suzy Deering (BSFCS ’92), Ali Bracken Gant (AB ’01, MPA ’11), Erika Hoy Lane (BBA ’93), Stephanie Arnette Powell (BSED ’94, MED ’97, EDS ’99), and Diane Smock (AB ’74). Cortney Touhy Beebe (AB ’98) is a posthumous emeritus executive committee member.

Georgia Women Give donors can choose to support one of three signature funds: an academic scholarship endowment, a study away endowment, or a campus priorities fund. This allows for targeted and impactful giving. Their commitment extends beyond financial support, fostering deep connections with campus through regular interactions with UGA faculty, staff and students, as well as on-campus events throughout the year.
