Support Warnell Students with a Gift

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED TO THE WARNELL SCHOOL OF FORESTRY AND NATURAL RESOURCES STUDENT EMERGENCY FUND CAMPAIGN! THIS CAMPAIGN HAS COME TO A CLOSE. IF YOU WANT TO SUPPORT THIS CAUSE, YOU CAN GIVE HERE: WARNELL STUDENT EMERGENCY FUND

Unexpected challenges can prevent Warnell students from continuing their academic journey. Together, we can offer a path for those students in crisis to succeed and thrive.

Over the last several years, UGA has seen a huge increase in the number of emergency financial requests, which is straining the resources offered by UGA’s Office of Student Care and Outreach. The need among Warnell students, specifically, has also increased, and they are forced to compete with the entire UGA student population for much-needed assistance.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED BY AUGUST 15

To help us respond quickly and effectively when students are in crisis, we established the Warnell Student Emergency Fund, which will offer one-time financial assistance to Warnell students experiencing temporary hardship to meet immediate, essential expenses. By giving to the Warnell Student Emergency Fund now, you can provide critical help to Warnell Dawgs struggling to overcome barriers when the unexpected happens. Our goal is to raise $10,000, which is the estimated amount to meet the need for the upcoming school year.

Warnell’s Student Emergency Fund assists directly, and only, Warnell students.

When students lack funds to cover necessary expenses such as utilities, books, and healthcare in times of extreme hardship, we can keep their dreams of continuing their education alive. Let’s show our students what being a Warnell Dawg is all about!

Your donation by August 15 will support students and show them how much the UGA community cares.
