Experience UGA

Imagine a child stepping onto a college campus for the first time — wide-eyed, curious, and inspired. Since 2012, Experience UGA has made that moment possible for more than 94,000 Clarke County School District students through engaging, hands-on field trips to the University of Georgia.

All at no direct cost to the school district.

This one-of-a-kind partnership between UGA and CCSD brings learning to life, helps students envision their future, and empowers UGA students to lead as mentors and role models. Recently honored with the 2024 International Town and Gown Association Presidential Excellence Award, Experience UGA is an internationally recognized model for community impact, and it’s built on the belief that every student deserves access to opportunity.

Now, a generous family has stepped forward to help take that impact even further. Every dollar you give will be matched — up to $10,000 — to support this transformative program.

Together, we can:

• Host every CCSD student, from Pre-K through 12th grade, to UGA each year for an academic field trip.

• Equip UGA students with leadership opportunities that foster growth and service.

• Strengthen the bond between our university and the Athens community we call home.

Whether you’re a lifelong Athenian or a proud Bulldog alum, this is a moment to invest in the future of our community — one student, one field trip, one spark of inspiration at a time.
