Enhancing CAES & Georgia 4-H

Celebrate Dr. Laura Perry Johnson’s Retirement

Alumnae and current Associate Dean for Extension Dr. Laura Perry Johnson will retire this spring after more than 35 years of service to the state of Georgia and the UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES). During this bitter-sweet moment, we’re asking friends, colleagues, and all those who have benefitted from her work to honor Dr. Johnson by donating to either CAES or Georgia 4-H, organizations for which she has worked and advocated throughout her successful career.

Dr. Johnson has been especially passionate about 4-H Project Achievement in the Veterinary Science Category and the Pineywoods Farm Scholarship, a fund created by her father in 2007 to provide annual scholarships to CAES students. Celebrate Dr. Johnson’s legacy by making a gift in her honor today. Your donation will bolster Dr. Johnson’s lifelong goal to enhance CAES, 4-H, UGA, and ultimately Georgians in every corner of the state.

Working for Cooperative Extension has been the joy of my life! I have loved every role I have been blessed to serve in at UGA. These roles have allowed me to use my skills and talents to learn, grow and serve others while being able to have an impact on agriculture, families and communities in Georgia and beyond.
