Impact: It has been such a unique opportunity getting to learn another country’s legal system— especially one that is so different than the system we study in the States. Through this experience, I’ve realized that I enjoy international legal work and cross-border transactions. I enjoy learning new cultures and how history and customs plays a role in shaping a society’s laws. I also enjoy learning new languages and finding ways to connect with people. I have met so many brilliant lawyers that I am proud to have called colleagues.
