Support International Programs at UGA Law
Student interest in international legal education is soaring — and we need your help to meet the moment.
This year, applications to two of the School of Law’s global programs more than doubled. But international study comes with a cost. Your gift helps us raise $12,000 by August 1 to cover travel, housing, and program fees for five law students.
This funder will support two of the School of Law’s standout programs:
-
Global Externships Overseas (GEOs): 4–12 week summer placements across the globe, giving students hands-on experience in international law, policy, and advocacy.
-
Global Governance Summer School (GGSS): A two-week course that takes students to Belgium and The Hague to study global governance through classroom sessions, site visits, and collaborative projects — all led by a Georgia Law professor.
These are more than just opportunities to work and study abroad – they’re transformational learning opportunities that shape how future lawyers engage with the world and the increasingly globalized legal profession.
Give today and help our students go farther — literally.
