UGA’s annual celebration of the literary, visual and performing arts
At the start of this academic year, the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences presented the new Fine and Performing Arts Brochure. For the first time ever, all of the arts programming was now in one place, so our loyal patrons can more easily attend, support, and positively impact our united arts community here at the University of Georgia. Thank you for attending and supporting our talented students and faculty.
Fine and performing arts are limitless in creativity, inspirational impact, and community engagement. Proceeds from this funder go directly to support students for creative output, student opportunities, and event programming so the students and the general public can continue to interact and grow through fine and performing arts.
Join us in celebrating the arts this November as part of the 14th annual Spotlight on the Arts festival, an initiative of the UGA Arts Council and the Provost’s Office to uplift all the arts on campus.
“Our students sometimes think that they know a script, but they can’t really be sure until they perform it in front of a crowd. In live theatre, the audience dynamic shifts with every performance. They need to learn how to navigate audiences who are uproarious and those that are more contemplative while giving the same strong performance every evening.” – Julie Ray, head of department of Theatre and Film
