HELP EMST STUDENTS CONTINUE A STRONG TRADITION OF NATIONAL RECOGNITION

For several consecutive years, entertainment and media studies (EMST) students have earned national recognition through the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) Festival of Media Arts, standing out among top programs across the country. This includes our very own Jaiden Arada and Priscilla Jackson, who won the 2026 BEA Award of Excellence in the Original Television Series Pilot category and the Student Scriptwriting Competition for their project, “SPF.”

Over the past three years, 17 students, like Jaiden and Priscilla, have earned major national awards recognizing their creativity, technical skill and commitment to powerful storytelling. It’s this kind of achievement that we want to continue to build support for, which is why we’re extending our goal to raise $2,500 for these students by Friday, February 27!

National recognition changes what students believe is possible, and opportunities like the BEA Festival open doors for our students in addition to celebrating their great work. We’re calling on your support to help remove financial barriers so all EMST students can fully participate in these experiences and continue representing Grady College on a national level.

EMST students have continuously shown they belong on the national stage. With your support, we can make sure they have the opportunity to step onto it.
