UGA CPH MHA students

Master of Health Administration Case Competition Scholarship

Invest in the Future of Public Health

We’ve officially surpassed our original $3,000 goal, and we’re not stopping there! Our new stretch goal is $5,000, which will help us send even more students to this competition or participate in an additional case competition. Let’s keep the momentum going for MHA students!

Case competitions are transformative learning experiences where graduate student teams solve complex, real-world healthcare management problems within a set time frame and present their recommendations to a panel of judges. Students work together in a competitive setting to develop the best solution for a case study. These events mirror the fast-paced, collaborative environment that students will encounter in their future administrative fellowships and healthcare leadership roles.

What Your Support Will Do
Participating in case competitions is a distinctive feature of accredited Master of Health Administration (MHA) programs nationwide and is highly encouraged by CAHME, our accrediting body. They offer outstanding exposure for both our students and the MHA program, providing recognition, networking and professional development opportunities that greatly enhance the student experience for our program.

With your investment, these students will be able to travel to professional conferences, have access to leadership opportunities, and possibly present their work to audiences outside of the UGA community. This travel may lead to career and academic opportunities, internships, and job offers.

Projected Impact
These scholarships will enable students to:
Handshake Network with professionals and mentors.
Pill Participate in real-world public health initiatives.
Briefcase Present their own work at national professional conferences.

Help Us Build the Future
UGA MHA has never sent students to participate in a case competition — this opportunity would be a first, offering an exciting and distinctive experience for our exceptional students.

When you fund these scholarships, you’re not just covering travel — you’re creating pathways for future public health leaders, expanding opportunities, and making a lasting impact.

Your donation by February 6 will support students and show them how much the UGA community cares.
