60 Years of Social Impact!
In 1964, the University of Georgia School of Social Work was founded with a mission to create positive change for individuals, families, and communities. Over the past 60 years, we have grown from offering a single Master of Social Work degree to a full range of programs, including our Bachelor of Social Work, Doctorate in Social Work, and Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. We’ve been pioneers in social justice, leading the way with innovative programs and tackling pressing issues of discrimination, poverty, and equal access to resources.
Now, as we celebrate 60 years of groundbreaking education and impact, we invite you to be part of our future by supporting our 60th Anniversary Fundraiser. Our goal is to secure 60 gifts—one for each year of the School’s history—to ensure that we can continue to provide an outstanding education to the next generation of social work leaders.
Your gift will help us maintain our tradition of excellence, supporting students, faculty, and critical research that drives positive change. With your support, we will continue to build a more just, humane, and equitable world.
Make your gift today and be part of our enduring legacy of service and social impact!
