In 1964, the University of Georgia School of Social Work was founded with a mission to create positive change for individuals, families, and communities. Over the past 60 years, we have grown from offering a single Master of Social Work degree to a full range of programs, including our Bachelor of Social Work, Doctorate in Social Work, and Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management and Leadership.
