Donor support turns possibility into reality
At the University of Georgia, faculty, staff and students are making a difference every day. At the heart of it all are the donors who help turn possibilities into reality.
Investing in potential
The strength of Bulldog Nation lies in its people and the donors who believe in them.
Thanks to generous support, students across campus are able to explore opportunities beyond the classroom. Donor-funded scholarships remove barriers and open doors, allowing students to focus fully on their education and make the most of what UGA has to offer.
It all starts with just one person at a time. Every scholarship makes a difference, helping students dedicate themselves to learning and growth. Supporting students also means supporting the educators who guide them. Endowed professorships, made possible through donor-established funds, allow the university to attract and retain world-class faculty who are leaders in their fields. As one of Georgia’s top research institutions, UGA is committed to bringing in experts who inspire, innovate and elevate the university experience for all.
Campus powered by generosity
UGA is tackling the grand challenges of our time — and that starts right here on campus.
From the construction of the UGA School of Medicine to cutting-edge learning environments, donor support ensures students have access to the very best facilities and technology. Whether it’s sound-proofed recording studios or dynamic active learning spaces, these resources empower students to thrive.
Donors played a pivotal role in creating transformative spaces like the Business Learning Community in the Terry College of Business, the Peyton Anderson Forum in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and the Poultry Science building in the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences. Each space is thoughtfully designed to help students learn, collaborate and thrive in the best environment.
Enhancing the Bulldog experience
Donor contributions don’t just support today’s students — they help shape the future of Bulldog Nation.
Through initiatives like Senior Signature, students are able to give back to the school, college or scholarship that shaped their journey.
The Parents Leadership Council (PLC) also plays a vital role by awarding annual grants that enhance undergraduate life, either through scholarships or registered student organizations. Since 2012, the PLC has contributed over $8.5 million to support student-focused organizations and programs.
Because of donors like you, students dream bigger, reach higher and achieve more. Thank you for being a part of the Bulldog legacy and for making a lasting impact on our university, our students, our state and our world.
