From 1977 to Today and Beyond

Celebrating 50 Years of Criminal Justice Studies at UGA

At the University of Georgia, the Criminal Justice Studies Program prepares students to tackle real-world challenges — a legacy that has shaped the lives and careers of more than 3,000 Criminal Justice Studies graduates since 1977.

Housed jointly in the Franklin College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Public and International Affairs, the interdisciplinary program combines a strong liberal arts foundation with specialized criminal justice coursework, community engagement and a semester-long internship. Together, these experiences prepare graduates for law school, academia, law enforcement and public service.

Whether you got your start through an internship, opened your agency’s doors to a UGA student, or championed the program along the way, you’ve seen firsthand the impact of allowing students to put their learning into practice.

HELP THE NEXT STUDENT SAY YES TO OPPORTUNITY

A semester-long internship can be transformative, but it may also be financially out of reach. Every donation helps students meet living expenses so they can fully participate in internships, rather than having to choose paid work over the experiences that will shape their future.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help more Criminal Justice Studies students say yes to these opportunities.

Help the next generation discover where they can make their mark!
