Bowl for a Parkinson’s and Crohn’s Breakthrough

On October 21, Coach Mark Richt is lacing up his bowling shoes for the fourth annual Chick-fil-A® Dawg Bowl — and he wants YOU on the team!

Together, we can take a big bite out of Parkinson’s and Crohn’s disease by giving to the Coach Mark Richt Neurological Diseases Research Fund at the University of Georgia.

This isn’t just about strikes and spares. It’s about impact.

Gifts made through this page will directly support Coach Richt’s fund at UGA and help fuel groundbreaking research at the Isakson Center for Neurological Disease Research, where experts are working to uncover the connections between Parkinson’s disease and gut inflammatory diseases like Crohn’s.

For Coach Richt, this fight is deeply personal. His granddaughter, Jadyn, was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease as an infant in 2015. Then, in 2021, Coach Richt was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Now, the Richt family is rallying Bulldog Nation to raise awareness and power the search for new treatments and cures.

Let’s Roll Toward $50,000

This year, we’re setting our sights on a $50,000 fundraising goal — in addition to the funds Coach Richt is raising through his foundation.

Together, these efforts will provide additional support for UGA’s Dr. Anumantha Kanthasamy and his research team as they pursue breakthroughs that could change the lives of people and families affected by Parkinson’s and Crohn’s.

Every gift matters. Every Dawg counts. Every dollar brings us closer to a breakthrough.

Make your gift today and help us knock down Parkinson’s and Crohn’s, one pin — and one breakthrough — at a time.

Roll with us. Bowl for a breakthrough. Give today.
