UGA Motorsports Travel Expense Campaign
UGA Motorsports needs your help to cover travel expenses to SAE International’s Formula SAE Michigan end-of-year race. From December 3, 2024, to April 4, 2025, we are asking the UGA engineering community to help us reach our fundraising goal of $5,000 to help support our team travel to the Michigan International Speedway.

UGA Motorsports is a collegiate motorsports team focused on creating formula style cars to push the boundaries of automotive engineering. With increasing costs of our materials and transportation, traveling to Michigan has become more difficult for our team. With your assistance our team can send more people to a completive automotive competition, allowing our students to learn what it is like to be in a professional auto racing environment. Your support will continue the growth of our program and empower the newest generation of automotive engineers and professionals.
Why support our program?
UGA Motorsports is a leader in the collegiate motorsports space which we intend to push even further. Last season at Formula SAE Michigan, we were able to gain 40 places for our past entries into the event. As our team continues to improve and grow, the students inside of our program gain hands-on experiences through actively building, developing, and designing our cars from scratch.
