Support Dementia Care and Education in Georgia

This campaign has come to a close. Thank you to our donors who supported UGA’s Cognitive Aging Research & Education (CARE) Center!

The mission of the Cognitive Aging Research & Education (CARE) Center is to bring high-quality, person-centered dementia education and clinical services to communities across Georgia.

Our team provides diagnostic assessments and wrap-around post-diagnosis support services at no charge. And, we are especially honored to be able to serve those who are uninsured or unable to pay for these services elsewhere, where they may cost upwards of $2,000.

The CARE Center mission is currently self-funded. To grow our services and reach more families, we will need support – Your support.

Become a CAREgiver by donating to the CARE Center Sustainability Fund.

This fund supports the services our team delivers every day, including:
• Neuropsychological assessment needed for diagnosis
• Medical exams needed for diagnosis
• Pharmaceutical reviews, in support of diagnosis
• Caregiver support groups
• Music therapy for patients
• Community-based education programs
• Nutrition-focused health promotion programming

Thank you for helping us improve the quality of life for persons living with dementia and their care partners. Your support is needed to raise $5,000 for the CARE Center Sustainability Fund to help carry out the CARE Center’s work.

Thank You to Our Donors
