At the College of Engineering, we aim to provide the best higher education experience for our students, tomorrow’s global problem solvers. Scholarship support is a crucial element in creating that experience, alleviating the financial burdens that can prohibit students from enjoying everything our college offers.
We are proud to offer scholarships in a variety of areas, supporting students with financial need, students from underrepresented communities, students with leadership potential, future teachers, those studying in specific fields, and students from diverse background.
While we are excited that our scholarship support continues to grow, we have over 3,000 College of Engineering students, so a gap remains.
Today, we are calling all Bulldog engineers to help us secure 100 gifts to support student scholarships.
Your gift to the College of Engineering Scholarship Support Fund will ensure that our students are able to focus on their education and will help create an environment that fosters innovation and exploration. Your support will help our students solve tomorrow’s problems, today.

“I wanted to support College of Engineering students because UGA has given me so much and the environment there is largely the reason I am who I am today when it comes to my career, so I wanted to give back. My grandmother also passed away around the time of my graduation and prioritized education, so I wanted to continue her memory through this scholarship.
The most gratifying part is seeing how the scholarship money impacts the lives of the recipients and hearing their stories. It’s so rewarding to see how, no matter the amount of money, helping others who need it goes a long way.
My only hope for those receiving the scholarship is that they spend a little less time worrying about the financial strain college can cause students and more time focusing on their education and career goals.”
