UGA Franklin College
Board of Advisors Challenge
The Challenge
The Board of Advisors supports UGA’s Franklin College of Arts and Sciences by assisting the Dean, faculty, and staff in securing recognition and contributions to advance the College’s academic, research, and public service missions.
The Board is embarking on a campaign to raise $70,500 by December 31 to help fundraise for three top priorities of the Franklin College:
Dean’s Doctoral Excellence Program
Funding for this initiative will advance the College’s research reputation by pursuing ways to enhance our ability to recruit, develop, and support premier doctoral students and postdoc fellows. By investing in our doctoral students, you are equipping them with the tools necessary to succeed during their time on campus and into the future.
Faculty Support
Funding for this initiative will advance the College’s reputation by supporting faculty professional development, transformational research, and advancement of multidisciplinary projects and innovation, such as establishing a Center for Data Criticism.
Young Alumni Engagement
Funding for this initiative will enhance the College’s relationship with young alumni and support them as they pursue their careers. Contributions will provide additional networking and engagement opportunities and ensure that the Franklin spirit thrives for generations to come.
