Delta Air Lines
The University of Georgia and Delta Air Lines have partnered for decades, elevating both organizations in significant, enduring ways. In January 2024, key figures from these two Georgia institutions met in the Delta Innovation Hub on UGA’s campus to discuss how they keep climbing together.

What is the Office of Business Engagement?
Corporations no longer consider themselves “donors” to academia, rather, they are “investors,” and a growing trend in the Georgia business community is that companies are viewing universities as “partnership” relationships. Our Business Engagement strategies will be developing a return on their investment, or turning these partnerships into funding mechanisms.
What does UGA offer in these partnerships?
We want to provide strategic benefits such as workforce development & future employees; sponsored research; new technologies; employee training; Executive education; economic development; public service and outreach.
